1. Introduction

Welcome to Alpine Solutions (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service describe how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our website alpinesolutionsautomation.com and related services that connect to Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram) and third-party calendar and email providers (such as Google and Microsoft) for automation and booking functionality.

By using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information (Meta): When you log in via Facebook or Instagram, we receive basic profile details such as your name, username, and profile ID as authorized by Meta’s APIs.
  • Messages & Leads (Meta): We temporarily access your direct messages and leads from Facebook and Instagram to help automate replies and manage communication.
  • Calendar & Availability Data (Google/Microsoft): To enable the booking component of our tool, if you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, we access your calendar data to read your availability (free/busy times). We do not access event titles, attendees, or descriptions.
  • User Contact Information (Google/Microsoft): If you connect your Google or Microsoft account for the booking component, we collect your email address associated with that account.
  • CRM Data: We may store limited user information (e.g., name, email, message content) in our CRM system for business and customer service purposes.
  • Usage Information: Includes logs, device information, and browser details when accessing our site.

3. How We Use Information

  • Respond to customer inquiries, leads, and messages.
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our automation services.
  • Facilitate Booking and Scheduling: We use your calendar free/busy data (read-only) solely to determine your availability for the purpose of scheduling appointments with other users or clients.
  • Account Verification and Communication: We use the email address collected from Google or Microsoft APIs for account identification, verification, and service-related communication.
  • Manage CRM contacts and internal communications.
  • Ensure compliance with Meta’s, Google’s, and Microsoft’s platform policies.
  • Maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Temporary Storage: We only store message data temporarily for processing and service functionality.

Calendar Data: We do not store or cache your calendar event details or availability data. It is accessed only when needed for a specific booking request.

CRM Records: CRM contact data (including email addresses collected via API) may be retained as long as necessary for customer relationship management, unless deletion is requested.

User Data Deletion: If you have logged in via Facebook, Instagram, Google, or Microsoft, you may request data deletion by emailing jason@alpinesolutionsautomation.com with the subject line “User Data Deletion Request.” Upon verification, all associated data will be deleted from our systems and CRM within 30 business days.

5. Data Sharing

  • Third-Party CRM Systems: To store and manage customer interactions.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): For message and automation functionality.
  • Scheduling Parties: When a booking is made, your availability status (free/busy) is shared with the party attempting to schedule an appointment with you.
  • Service Providers: Trusted partners assisting with hosting, analytics, and infrastructure.

We do not sell or rent user data.

6. User Authentication and Third-Party APIs

Meta (Facebook & Instagram Login)

When you log in using Facebook or Instagram, you grant us access to your account as permitted by Meta’s Graph API. We will only use this access to:

  • Read messages and leads for automation purposes.
  • Send authorized replies on your behalf.
  • Maintain compliance with Meta’s policies.

We will never post content or messages without your explicit consent.

Google & Microsoft APIs (Calendar & Email)

When you connect your Google or Microsoft account for the booking component, you grant us access to:

  • Calendar Read-Only Access: Access to your calendar to read only the free/busy status (availability).
  • User Email Access (`userinfo.email`): Access to your primary email address for identification and communication.

Use Limitation: We will only use this non-public data (calendar availability and email) to provide the scheduling/booking functionality of our service. We will not use this data for any other purpose, including advertising, transferring it to another party, or using it for service-related requests outside of the core booking functionality. Our use of this information adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and Microsoft's API terms.

7. Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect user data, including encryption, access control, and secure server configurations. This includes protecting sensitive calendar availability data. However, no system is completely secure. You use our service at your own risk.
